A Few Things I Care About
How we're choosing to be together.
These aren't rules posted in a school hallway. They're just what we've noticed makes a room worth being in.
Show up with self-awareness — and keep noticing.
Allow yourself and others to be exactly where you are.
Move with integrity, even when no one is watching.
Make room for spirit, however you name it.
Reach for a higher level of consciousness — and invite others with you.
Be open. Open to change, to discomfort, to joy, to not knowing.
Ask instead of assuming.
No means no, without requiring an explanation.
People's stories belong to them.
Take care with what somebody trusts you enough to share.
Leave people with their dignity.
And remember that community isn't something the organizers provide for you.It's something we make with one another.
